Graduate in fine arts from Miguel Hernandez University of Elche, at the Altea faculty. He specialized in sculpture by doing a one-year study scholarship in Poland and expanded his knowledge with several courses on bronze sculpture and stone carving.
Carlos's interest in Art comes from his family. Since childhood, he was raised in his father's carpentry workshop, where he acquired a taste for manual work and had the opportunity to learn from carvings and cabinetmakers.
Even before finishing his studies at the university, he began to do small jobs as a sculptor in theming companies and film productions in the city of light, where he collaborated on a production by Jean Jack Annaud.
All these jobs in this work environment allowed him to broaden his knowledge alongside great and experienced artists.
After finishing university, he settled in the city of Alicante where he has his workshop in which he carries out his most personal works and at the same time continued in the labor world of theming and cinema, alternating projects between "his two worlds".
On one hand, he has conducted international sculpture symposiums and won art competitions, having works installed in more than 9 countries including the sculpture to the monument of covid victims that he installed as a co-author on the grand avenue of Alicante, his hometown.
On the other hand, he performs collaborations as a freelance artist for companies throughout Europe, moving through theme parks for the realization of the same.
He has carried out top-level projects for parks such as Disneyland, Legoland, Puy du Fou, Dreamworks, Ferrari land, Europa Park, or Asterix Park.
Currently, besides working as a sculptor, he is the lead sculptor for the Tomorrowland music festival, where he directs the sculptural creation project of the mainstage.
Carlos spends his free time in his workshop in Alicante, where he is in full research of ideas and shapes from which he is creating a new series of sculptures, which he is making in noble materials and with which he will soon hold a new solo exhibition showing his most personal side
